Where is
Jericoacoara is one of the pearls of Brazil. It is located in the Northeast, 350 km north of Fortaleza, in the state of the Cearà. It is the only village of the National Park of Jericoacoara, encircled on three sides from sand dunes and crystalline lagoons. The fourth side is privilege of the ocean. It has been recognized from Washington Post like one of the 10 most beautiful beach of the world, encircled like it is from dunes that continuously change their conformation pushed from the incessant blow of the winds.

But the most fascinating spectacle are the beaches, pervaded from a deep mystery that every day regenerates them thanks to the deep flows of the tide. Its roads are of sand and the only nocturnal light, once stores and restaurants are closed, is given from the moon and the stars that shine here like in few other places in the world.

How to reach
You can reach Jericoacoara only by off-road. That allows it to remain protect from the great tourist flows. It introduces itself to the traveller like a show of colors and energies: from a side the native population, the boats from the colored sails, the arrival of the fishermen on the beach, on the other side the festivities that prolonged until the dawn, the capoeira, unmissing appointment at the sunset thus as the walk on the dune “Pôr-do-Sol” to admire the show of the sun that goes to rest itself in the waters of the ocean.

Jeri, as Jericoacoara is confidentially called from people that well knows it, is the paradise for who practice kitesurf and windsurf thanks to its winds that constantly blow for 6 months the year; for who loves the long walks in the nature; for who loves to ride undisturbly on the beach; for who loves a lively night life; for who loves the nature, the people, the music, the sun, the sea ..... for who loves the life and wants to savour it in its thoroughness.
